In 2026, the New York Aviation Management Association proudly marks its 50th Anniversary.
For five decades, NYAMA has brought together airport leaders, aviation professionals, and partners from across New York State to strengthen our aviation system, support economic growth, and promote safe, reliable access to our communities.


As we celebrate this milestone, we honor the leaders who built this organization—and look ahead to the next chapter of collaboration, advocacy, and innovation in New York aviation.
Throughout 2026, NYAMA will highlight this legacy while continuing its mission to serve members, engage policymakers, and advance the role of airports statewide.

A career in aviation can take you in many directions! Join the New York Aviation Management Association (NYAMA) for Aviation Career Day—an opportunity to meet industry professionals, explore career paths, and learn about the education and training that can help you get started. Through industry panels, hands-on demonstrations, and a career meet & greats, participants will discover opportunities in airport management, aircraft maintenance, flight operations, and more.
What to expect:
  • Industry Panels & Speakers: Hear from aviation professionals about their careers and experiences.
  • Hands-On Demonstrations: Get a closer look at the skills and technology behind aviation.
  • Career Expo & Meet-and-Greet: Connect with industry representatives, ask questions, and gather resources.
  • Education & Training Pathways: Explore programs that can prepare you for a future in aviation.
High school students in grades 9–12, educators, school counselors, workforce development organizations, individuals transitioning from military service, and job seekers are encouraged to attend.
Attendance is free, and complimentary lunch is included. Space is limited to 40 participants, and advance registration is required.
Register by October 30, 2026.

Your membership supports a collective voice for the airports and aviation organizations that drive economic opportunity, connect communities, and help prepare the next generation of aviation professionals.
