Welcome to the New York Aviation Management Association!

Advancing Aviation - Advancing New York!

NYAMA's mission is to promote the viability and business interests of New York State's airports, which are the centerpiece of aviation services and drivers of economic development. Through advocacy, education, communications and business services, NYAMA supports New York's airports and the businesses and communities that rely upon them.

Celebrating 50 Years of New York Aviation Leadership

In 2026, the New York Aviation Management Association proudly marks its 50th Anniversary.
For five decades, NYAMA has brought together airport leaders, aviation professionals, and partners from across New York State to strengthen our aviation system, support economic growth, and promote safe, reliable access to our communities.

As we celebrate this milestone, we honor the leaders who built this organization—and look ahead to the next chapter of collaboration, advocacy, and innovation in New York aviation.

Throughout 2026, NYAMA will highlight this legacy while continuing its mission to serve members, engage policymakers, and advance the role of airports statewide.

Successful NYAMA 2026 Aviation Advocacy Day

Thank you to everyone who participated in the
NYAMA Aviation Advocacy Day in Albany on February 23rd and 24th!

Despite challenging winter weather and the unfortunate cancellation of our Legislative Reception, NYAMA’s Aviation Advocacy Day in Albany was a success.

We extend our sincere thanks to the NYAMA members and Executive Team who were able to make the trip to Albany and represent our industry. The dedication of our members ensured that important conversations still took place with New York State legislators and their staff.

Throughout the day, our teams met with lawmakers to discuss the critical role aviation plays in New York State’s economy, the importance of continued investment in airport infrastructure, and policies that support the growth and sustainability of aviation across New York State.

Advocacy Day provides an invaluable opportunity for legislators to hear directly from the professionals who operate, manage, and support airports across the state. Thanks to the efforts of our members, the voice of aviation was well represented in Albany in February.

NYAMA's commitment to the industry—even in difficult travel conditions—demonstrates the strength and passion of the aviation in New York State.
