Job Information: Airports Grant Supervisor 

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Airports Grant Supervisor to join our widely respected and growing Aviation Division in any of our Office Locations.

Key Responsibilities:
 Oversee grants administration activities, including application preparation, tracking of project progress and reimbursements, compliance documentation, and grant closeouts.
 Coordinate with funding agencies, sponsors, and internal teams on Capital Improvement Plans, funding strategy, reporting requirements, and Passenger Facility Charge (PFC) programs.
 Maintain and manage grant and diversity goal tracking, including DBE, M.WBE, and SDVOB Reporting in systems like EBO for NYSDOT-funded projects.
 Foster professional relationships and provide administrative support, collaborating with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure efficient processes and strategic funding opportunities.

Qualifications:
 Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Public Administration, or a related field.
 Highly organized with the ability to manage and track approximately 50-75 open grants simultaneously: strong time management and deadline-driven work ethic.
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proactive in engaging with others and taking initiative.
 Works well independently while contributing to team efforts; demonstrates a strong sense of ownership and responsibility for quality and timeliness of work.

Job Information: Assistant Civil Engineer - Aviation 

About the Role:
We are seeking an Assistant Civil Engineer to join our widely respected and growing Aviation Division in any of our Northeast Office Locations.

Key Responsibilities:
 Assist in developing airfield project plans, including grading and drainage design, pavement design, utilities, stormwater management, and contract documents for airport improvement projects across general aviation and commercial service airports in the Northeast.
 Work under close supervision with detailed instructions to gain experience and familiarity with engineering methods, practices, and programs.
 Perform seasonal construction observation at various airport sites, ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications.

Qualifications:
 Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required.
 Engineering Intern (E.I) Certification preferred.
 0-3 years of progressive civil engineering experience.
 AutoCAD Civil 3D design/drafting experience preferred.
 FAA/DOT design requirements, specifications, funding, and understanding of airport operations preferred.
 Must be eligible for security badge clearance (SIDA) at US airports.

Job Information: Aviation Project Manager 

About the Role:
MJ's widely respected and growing Aviation Division has an exciting growth opportunity in our New England office locations for a highly motivated Aviation Project Manager seeking to elevate their career by taking on a leadership position. The successful candidate will manage multi-disciplinary aviation projects and assist with developing client relationships throughout New England.
Successful candidate will be technically well-versed, licensed P.E., with at least 7 years of progressive experience providing aviation related design, project planning and programming, and project/task management services for commercial and general aviation airports.

Key Responsibilities:
 Delivering high quality products and superior client service.
 Managing, planning, and scheduling work efforts on multiple airport improvement projects.
 Provide leadership, guidance, and supervision to multi-disciplinary teams.
 Leading and presenting at meetings with clients, stakeholders, and contractors.
 Maintaining and growing MJ's client base in the Northeast
 Actively participating in industry organizations and events

Qualifications:
 Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited program with solid technical background.
 Licensed Professional Engineer required, additional state licenses preferred.
 Knowledge of and experience in New England aviation market, including funding sources.
 Working knowledge of design software packages such as AutoCAD and Civil3D
 Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
