Position: Airport Operations Specialist
Qualifications: 

A) Completion of at least 60 semester credit hours at a regionally accredited or New York State registered college or university in aviation management, aeronautical studies, fire protection technology or related field and one year of experience in airport operations; OR B) Graduation from high school or possession of an equivalency diploma, one year of airport operations and EITHER: 1) Two years of airport operations experience at an airport with scheduled air service; OR 2) Two years of Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting experience at an airport with scheduled air service; OR 3) Two years of aviation experience as a member of the U.S. military; OR 4) One year of airport operations or Aircraft Rescue and Firefighting experience at an airport with scheduled air service AND one year of paid or volunteer firefighting AIRPORT OPERATIONS SPECIALIST — CONT’D. 3 experience in an organized fire company which shall have included the use of chemical firefighting agents; OR C) An equivalent combination of training and experience as indicated by the limits of A) and B) above.

Position: Assistant Air Terminal Superintendent
Qualifications: 

A Bachelor’s degree in business management or a related field, and a minimum of five (5) years’ experience directly supervising others, working in customer relations, and in building maintenance and operations, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.  Airport or airline operations experience preferrable.  Must be able to obtain and maintain a SIDA badge/ US Customs and Border Protection Seal. Must successfully pass testing in Basic Microsoft Word and Basic Microsoft Excel.  Must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Access software.
